My Story

I didn't start in property - I trained as a teacher. Turns out the teaching bit stuck.

I found my way into the lettings industry and worked my way up through pretty much every role going. Property manager, negotiator, branch manager, company director - the lot. Along the way I doubled a lettings portfolio and its income, picked up a few awards, and learned first-hand what actually makes an agency grow.

​

But the bit I kept coming back to was helping other people figure it out. So I made the leap.

​

Since launching Toby Martin Consultancy & Training, I've worked with estate and letting agents right across the UK - from one-branch independents to nationals. I've delivered training sessions, run workshops, created content strategies, built AI training programmes, and stood on the biggest (and smallest) industry stages talking about what it really takes to build a business people remember.

​

I also co-founded PropX, an industry event with a charitable heart, and I'm a part of The Estate Agent Consultancy, where we help agents to win more instructions and increase their income.

​

If there's a thread running through all of it, it's this: I believe the most memorable businesses win. Not the loudest, not the biggest - the most memorable. And I'm here to help you become exactly that.

Oh, and before all of this? I wanted to be a rockstar. The guitar didn't work out, but the stage did.
